The Heart-Centered Design Canvas
The Heart-Centered Design Canvas is a simple reimagining of the Business Model Canvas (created by Strategyzer) to consider spiritual growth and holistic success. As well as incorporating Heart-Centered Design principles, it takes into consideration our personal aspirations, allowing us to include them in the earliest foundations of our ideas.
By actively including these principles and aspirations in mind from the very beginning, the DNA of our ideas will be very different. Changing the language of the original canvas slightly helps to elevate our questions, plans and foundations by looking at them through a Heart-Centered lens.

How and why to use the
Heart-Centered Design Canvas
The Heart-Centered Design Canvas features a series of boxes or sections that are titled to reflect an aspect or component of your idea. The aim of this exercise is to populate each section with as much information as you can, so that you can more easily see how your idea hangs together – a visual representation of what will sustain your idea, why you're doing it, how you're doing it, and more.
The section titles of this canvas are what sets it apart from the original canvas. Where the original canvas has ‘customers’, for example, this canvas has 'community'. So rather than thinking about the type of customers you want to sell to, tap into the Heart-Centered Design Principles, and consider who are the people you want to serve. How will you. do that with Ihsan and Ikhlas?
Other sections help us outline what unique experiences we can offer, what transformation we aim to facilitate, how we can make connections with people, what our values and intentions are, and what our sources of wisdom and guidance are. As well as how we aim to be financial sustainable.
